Hi, I’m Skyler. Welcome to The Threadsmith Group.

Hi, welcome, I’m glad you’re here!

I’m Skyler, and I started this business because I got tired of watching brilliant people twist themselves into knots for broken systems.

For years, I’ve been the person people come to when they need someone who can cut through the chaos and say what’s actually going on—without sugarcoating it, but with just enough warmth to make it land. I’ve helped small teams untangle messy workflows, fix confusing products, and get their operations back on track. I’ve accidentally amassed a following on LinkedIn (hi!) based on my snarky responses to their AI-generated questions. And I’ve helped women find their voice in rooms that were never built with them in mind. I’m most proud of that.

I don’t believe in patching over problems. I believe in digging into the issues, finding the root of the problem, and solving that.

I’m incredibly proud of the work I’ve done to lift other women in the tech industry. I cannot put into words how awesome it is to get messages like this.

What I do

Clarity over chaos.
Boundaries over burnout.
Real human relationships over performative leadership theater.

The Threadsmith Group offers sharp, sustainable solutions across three core areas:

1. Process and product audits that actually lead to change.
I help teams diagnose what’s broken—not just on the surface, but in the systems, communication loops, and incentive structures underneath. Whether it’s a clunky internal workflow, an underperforming product, or a silo that’s slowly killing collaboration, I’ll help you unravel it and rebuild something that works.

2. Engineering-informed problem-solving.
I bring a technical lens to operational mess. Whether your issue is technical debt, unclear ownership, or a feature roadmap that’s three quarters behind schedule, I can help you prioritize, refactor, and get things moving again. I'm not here to spin up an infinite Jira or Notion or whatever collaboration tool board. I'm here to get your team unstuck.

3. Mentoring for women who are ready to stop playing small.
I work with early- to mid-career women who are smart, capable, and tired of being overlooked and talked over. If you need someone in your corner who won’t let you stay quiet when it’s your time to speak up, I’m that person. Nothing brings me more joy than helping someone realize they’ve had the power all along and then teaching them how to wield it.

You know that moment when a woman sits you down, looks you in the eye, and says:

“I see something in you. You need to see it in yourself. GET! OUT! OF! YOUR! OWN! WAY!”

I’ve had that moment and it changed the trajectory of my life. I’ve given it to others. And now it’s time to do it at scale.

Who I work with

I partner with small businesses that actually want to get better. Not just talk about it in all-hands. Not just slap a few KPIs on top of dysfunction and call it progress. I work with founders and teams who are willing to hear the hard truths, make tough calls, and rebuild from a stronger foundation.

I also work directly with individuals, especially women, who are navigating toxic dynamics, imposter syndrome, or just the quiet daily erosion that happens when you’re undervalued at work. I see you. I’ve been you, oh my god I’ve been you. And I can help. Am I perfect, no! Do I have every answer, no I absolutely do not! But what I can promise is that you’ll have someone in your corner, willing to give you straightforward advice, and be your trusted confidant in a very tough world.

Why “The Threadsmith Group” if you’re just one person?

I’ve got ambition and a strong dislike for government paperwork or rebranding exercises. The Threadsmith Group is a one-Skyler show right now, but I said I want to scale this up and I mean it. Today is just the beginning.

💜 Skyler
